The Haverstraw Little League is based in the Village of Haverstraw in Rockland County, New York, and is a member of New York District 18 of Little League, Inc. The League was established in 1952 by a group of community minded volunteers. Our league features baseball and softball programs for boys and girls ages 6 to 16 with approximately 800 ballplayers. The objective of the League is to implant firmly in the children, the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.
