Housing

Meals (Other than Game Day Meals) and lodging are the responsibility of the competing leagues. The Headquarters Hotel is the Holidome in Suffern, NY which is approximately 20 minutes from the field. Rooms have been set aside under the name "Senior Softball State Championships" at the rate of $89.00 per night. Please contact them directly.

Game Day Meals

Each Team (Players, Managers & Coaches) will be fed from our refreshment stand at no charge after their game for as long as they just played.

Concessions

There is a fully stocked refreshment stand at the field which will be open before and after each game, including breakfast. Bathroom facilities are conveniently located and tournament souvenirs will be available in the HLL merchandise store.

Managers Meeting

Meeting is Mandatory in the time spot indicated on the schedule of events. Warm up times will be advised at the meeting. The designation of home team and dugouts will be selected.

Travel

All teams are responsible for their transportation to and from the events as listed.

Umpires

There will be at least 2 umpires for each game. Qualified applicants are selected and approved by the district administrator and his staff.

Eligibility Rosters

As this is a new level of play for all teams, all eligibility documents, including proof of birth, residence and medical forms will be reviewed at the time listed on the schedule of events. Any changes will follow the approved method as outlined in the National Tournament Rules. Documents will be kept by the tournament director and returned when the team is no longer in the tournament.

Uniforms & Equipment

Uniforms & Equipment are the responsibility of the team managers and of course must comply with all Little League specifications. These will be inspected by the staff before each game.

Notification of Section Winners

Immediately upon the completion of sectional play, it is the responsibilty of the winning team to contact, by phone, the State Tournament Director, Michael Sansonetti, Jr., to advise the full information about the team representing the section at the State Championships. The notifying person should have in their possession the roster names, numbers and record.

Directions to Sonoma Grill

Traveling North on Palisades Parkway, get off Exit 13 and make a left off the exit. The Sonoma Grill is about a half mile on the left.

Traveling South on the Palisades Parkway, get off exit 13 and make a left at the light. Go to your next light and make a left, Sonoma Grill is about a half mile on the left.

Traveling Route 202 from the Holidome, go under underpass of the Palisade Parkway, make a left at the light, Sonoma Grill is about a half mile on the left.

Directions to the Holidome

NYS Thruway (i87/287) Exit 14B (Airmont Road), Turn North at Exit, Quick left onto Executive Blvd.
